Recession: Fact or Fiction?
There has been a lot of speculation lately about whether or not we’re in a recession. Whether we meet the technical definition of recession, which is two or more consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth, there’s no doubt that the economy is in a difficult state. And, of course, there’s the theory that a recession could be a self-fulfilling prophecy, with consumers responding to the speculation and spending (or not spending) as if we were already in a recession.
From a business standpoint, it seems clear that if the market in the US is slow, or not allowing you to meet sales projections, it might be a good time to either begin or increase your international efforts.
