As Chief Operating Officer of Iverson Language
Associates, Hélène works closely
with Steve Iverson, the company's founder and
President/CEO to drive overall strategy for the
company. In this role, Hélène is
responsible for financial oversight, day-to-day
operations and ensuring the company meets quality
goals and client expectations.
A veteran with the company, Hélène
has served Iverson Language Associates in a number
of roles. Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer,
she was Director of Client Services and also spent
time as a Senior Project Manager and the Midwest
Account Executive.
Hélène holds a master's degree in French
Translation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
She also studied at the Université des
Sciences Humaines of Strasbourg, France where
she earned a master's degree in Specialized Translation,
with an emphasis in English and German.
Hélène is a member of the American
Translators Association (ATA), and a former Associate
Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee,
where she taught Computer-Assisted Translation
(CAT).
Away from work, her hobbies include hiking, cooking
and collecting sugar packets from around the world.
Her future goal is to climb Mount Rainier in Washington
State.
Hélène was born and raised in Strasbourg,
France, where her family still resides. Hélène,
her husband, and daughter live in the Milwaukee
metro area.
