Hélène Pielmeier was named President of Iverson Language Associates in 2010 after company founder Steve Iverson retired after 24 years. A veteran of the company, Pielmeier has served Iverson in a number of roles. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, she also spent time as Director of Client Services, Senior Project Manager, and the Midwest Account Executive.
Pielmeier holds a master's degree in French Translation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She also studied at the Université des Sciences Humaines of Strasbourg, France, where she earned a master's degree in Specialized Translation, with an emphasis in English and German. Pielmeier is a former Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she taught Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT).
Away from work, her hobbies include hiking, cooking and collecting sugar packets from around the world. Her future goal is to climb Mount Rainier in Washington State.
Hélène was born and raised in Strasbourg, France, where her family still resides. Hélène, her husband, and daughter live in the Milwaukee metro area.
